Our 6th annual comp for the title of Matakana Idol will be a great night out for everyone, and after some close competition last year, this year's contestants will have their work cut out for them. So feel free to come along and try your luck at wooing the judges, or just to watch the contest if you don't want to sing, everybody is welcome.

23 October 2010, 7am - 2pm Matakana Primary School Gala
The event takes place within the school grounds and stalls are scattered throughout. Treasures to find and buy, lots of food and performances by the Kapa Haka and Choir group.
The entire 'old hall' is a clothing store, two class rooms full of electrical items, a huge yard sale takes up 2 netball courts and half our new hall is our book fair, and the other a yummy Cafe. Other specialty stalls include our Quality Bric a Brac and our Toy store.
Our cake stall has every sweet delight you could wish for, Mussel Fritters, burgers, bacon & egg butties, hot chips and sausage sizzles!
